INFORMATION AND ELIGIBILITY
Open to all photographers.
The "Focus Wall" is a new call for submissions that will provide the focus of a public art presence largely featured as a billboard art piece mounted outdoors on the side of the brick and mortar MWCP building. The Focus Wall will be an outstanding platform to make a statement with powerful work that will be highly visible for viewers to experience as they pass by in the city while driving or walking past the building on the sidewalk. The Focus Wall will provide the opportunity for one selected photographer to showcase a photographic work prominently at the Midwest Center for Photography while we safely practice social distancing. The Focus Wall will also provide an online component for patrons of the gallery to go online and view, learn about you and your work through your images and biography and artist statement, and have the opportunity to purchase your photographs. Submit for this highly prestigious opportunity to be selected as the one photographer that we will all focus on - on the Focus Wall.
Selection will be based upon individual images of photographic work submitted by each artist. A brief artist statement and bio are required.
One selected artist will have their work featured on the Focus Wall for a period of three months and also online.
