INFORMATION AND ELIGIBILITY
Open to all photographers internationally.
From subtle low contrast to high key constrast in the range of values of a black and white photograph the Greyscale exhibition will represent photographs of a variety of different light and subject matter. The experience of printing traditional darkroom photographs is like no other. When a classic black and white photograph is crafted well the grey tones are so stunningly rich that a viewer wouldn't only not miss the color but revel in the absence of color. From traditional film and darkroom photography to the digital imaging medium we are searching to find those outstanding monochromatic greyscale photographs. This exhibition will represent the mood, drama and silence captured through the black and white medium of photography.
Selections will be based upon the merit of individual images submitted by each artist. Theme based entries are not necessary.
Selected photographers will be featured online and in the gallery exhibition. A brief artist statement is optional.
