EXHIBITION DATES: FEBRUARY 6 - 27, 2026
Our current state of awareness is deeply influenced by our experiences, interpretations and memories of the past. These experiences and our imagination shape our dreams, bringing our subconscious to an active state. Riding that fine line between sleeping and being awake, we can enter into a lucid dream state, able to gain various degrees of control over the dream narrative, simultaneously tapping into our creative mind. Whether our dreams present an uncanny similarity to our active daily lives and memories, are peaceful and pleasant experiences, or possibly our dreams are more of a nightmarish experience, we are most often perplexed by the recognition of this creative brain activity referred to as the dream state. Dreams is an exhibition portraying the multitude of interesting ways that we take photographs that elicit or display the recollection of a dream state. Whether a photograph is produced to recreate the concept of a dream or if it is to represent what we have in our minds eye of our dreams for our future, we are exhibiting photographic work of these artists dream interpretations.
