CALL FOR ENTRIES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

INFORMATION AND ELIGIBILITY

In the year of 2024 we will be featuring photographers for the EMERGE competition. We are looking to give one $200 EMERGE Fellowship Award and exhibition opportunities to emerging photographers. This fellowship opportunity is geared toward photographers looking to launch their art careers through the exposure of exhibition.

MWCP is seeking emerging photographers creating fresh and exciting new pictures. We feel strongly about providing this exhibition opportunity to emerging photographers. Professionally preparing a series of work, entering to galleries within the stated guidelines of gallery submissions and through subsequently building an exhibition record is a major and essential aspect of building a career in art photography.

Open to all emerging photographers worldwide. All photographic media is welcome.

Selection will be based upon individual images submitted by each artist.

Selected artists will have their work featured in the exhibition and online. One recipient will be awarded the $200 EMERGE Fellowship Award, and receive one year artist representation by MWCP online.

SUBMISSION FORMAT

To be considered for the EMEGE exhibition, instructions must be followed. To submit your photographs, select the number of images above and click "add to cart". Check out at the PayPal form.

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NOT AN UPLOAD FORM AND NOT AN AUTO RESPONSE EMAIL. You should simply Email your photographs to us at info@mwcponline.org in jpeg format: 72 dpi, no larger than 3000 x 3000 pixels. Name each file with your name and the corresponding number from the entry information below, last name first, then first name, then the image number, for example: smith_jane_1.jpg, smith_jane_2.jpg, etc...

List the information requested below in a single Microsoft Word document. When submitting your entry by email, attach your JPEGS and info document, then email to  info@mwcponline.org. Sending individual files in separate emails is acceptable. If you submit your images using a file sharing program please do not set your files to expire before the exhibition dates.

NOTIFICATION OF SELECTED PHOTOGRAPHERS

Selected photographers will be posted online at www.mwcponline.com. Our group email will be sent with a list of names of selected photographers. Photographers who sumbitted must check this information for the list of names. Instructions for the exhibition will be sent to selected photographers via email. Please reply to the email to confirm participation in the exhibition.

EXHIBITION FORMAT

All photographic works will be ready to hang on the wall for the exhibition and will also be featured online. The format of the exhibition is that we will eliminate the shipping of artwork to us. All photographs will be printed and framed in house at MWCP at a discount using the printing and framing services, standard size rental frames are available.

ASSOCIATED FEES AND INFORMATION

Not all photographers who enter the call for entries will be selected for the exhibition, and photographers who are selected may not have all individual images chosen to be included in the exhibition. There is a 40% gallery commission for work sold. MWCP reserves the right to reproduce images for promotional and publication purposes, if necessary. If entry instructions are not followed the entry will not be considered for exhibition. Any work that is submitted with files set to expire before our selections date, or arrives at the gallery after the deadline will be disqualified from the exhibit. MWCP cannot be responsible for damage or loss during shipping. Email addresses will be added to our email list. Entry fees are non-refundable, no exceptions.
