CALL FOR ENTRIES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

INFORMATION AND ELIGIBILITY

The 2026 NATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY FELLOWSHIP COMPETITON - DEVELOPED WORK exhibition features current and relevant work of national photographers that help define the pulse of contemporary photography in the USA. Developed Work has become established as the premier exhibition at MWCP for featuring some of the most important creative photographic work of the year.

Competition for Developed Work is based upon a thematically developed body of work. Selected photographers will demonstrate successful representation of working with a concept and developing it into a solid framework resulting in a thematically developed body of photographic work.

Artists must submit a brief artist statement outlining the intentions of the work. Selection will be considered from the cohesive body of work submitted by each artist rather than solely on individual images.

The competition is open to all photographers nationally, and open to all photographic genre and subject matter.

Selected artists will have their work featured in the exhibition and online. One fellowship recipient will receive the $200 Developed Work Fellowship Award and one year artist representation at MWCP online.

SUBMISSION FORMAT

Select the number of images and click "add to cart". Check out at the PayPal form. Email your photographs to info@mwcponline.org in jpeg format: 72 dpi, no larger than 3000 x 3000 pixels. Name each file with your name and the corresponding number from the entry information below, for example: smith_jane_1.jpg. List the information requested below in a text document. Attach your photographs and info, and email to info@mwcponline.org. Provide the following information for each image submitted in one text document:

NOTIFICATION OF SELECTED PHOTOGRAPHERS

Selected photographers will be posted online at www.mwcponline.com. Our group email will be sent with a list of names of selected photographers. Photographers who sumbitted must check this information for the list of names. Instructions for the exhibition will be sent to selected photographers via email.

EXHIBITION FORMAT

All photographic works will be ready to hang on the wall for the exhibition and will also be featured online. The format of the exhibition is that we will eliminate the shipping of artwork to us. All photographs will be printed and framed in house at MWCP at a discount using the printing and framing services, standard size rental frames will be used for the exhibition charged to exhibiting artists at a $30 per frame fee. Printing and frame rental fees must be paid in advance of the exhibition date, artists who do not pay for their printing and frame rental fees will be disqualified from the exhibition.

ASSOCIATED FEES AND INFORMATION

Not all photographers who enter the call for entries will be selected for the exhibition, and photographers who are selected may not have all individual images chosen to be included in the exhibition. To ensure that your work will be prepared for exhibition, please remit payment for the printing and frame rental(s) prior to the exhibition opening date. There is a 50% gallery commission for work sold. MWCP reserves the right to reproduce images for promotional and publication purposes, if necessary. Any work that is submitted with files set to expire before our selections date, or arrives at the gallery after the deadline will be disqualified from the exhibit.  If entry instructions are not followed the entry will not be considered for exhibition. Email addresses will be added to our email list. Entry fees are non-refundable, no exceptions. Prints remain in the MWCP permanant collection. Photo copyright remains with the photographer at all times. If using PayPal is not something that you would like to do, simply send us a check for your entry fee in the U.S. Mail. By submitting work to the call for entries you agree to all terms and conditions set forth in this entry page.
