CALL FOR ENTRIES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

INFORMATION AND ELIGIBILITY

This year we are again extending the outreach for this call for entry to international audiences. The 2021 INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY FELLOWSHIP COMPETITON - "DEVELOPED WORK" exhibition features current and relevant work of international photographers that help define the pulse of contemporary photography in the world. "Developed Work" has become established as the premier exhibition at MWCP for featuring some of the most important creative photographic work of the year.

Competition for "Developed Work" is based upon a thematically developed body of work. Selected photographers will demonstrate successful representation of working with a concept and developing it into a solid framework resulting in a thematically developed body of photographic work.

Artists must submit a brief artist statement outlining the intentions of the work. Selection will be considered from the cohesive body of work submitted by each artist rather than solely on individual images.

The competition is open to all photographers worldwide, and open to all photographic genre and subject matter.

Selected artists will have their work featured in the exhibition and online. One fellowship recipient will receive the $200 Developed Work Fellowship Award and one year artist representation at MWCP online.

SUBMISSION FORMAT

Select the number of images and click "add to cart". Check out at the PayPal form. Email your photographs to info@mwcponline.org in jpeg format: 72 dpi, no larger than 3000 x 3000 pixels. Name each file with your name and the corresponding number from the entry information below, for example: smith_jane_1.jpg. List the information requested below in a Microsoft Word document. Attach your photographs and info, and email to info@mwcponline.org. Provide the following information for each image submitted:

NOTIFICATION OF SELECTED PHOTOGRAPHERS

Selected photographers will be posted online at www.mwcponline.com. Our group email will be sent with a list of names of selected photographers. Photographers who sumbitted must check this information for the list of names. Instructions for the exhibition will be sent to selected photographers via email, please reply to the email to confirm participation in the exhibition.

EXHIBITION FORMAT

All photographic works should be ready to hang on the wall for the exhibition. MWCP offers printing and framing services, we also offer standard size rental frames. Due to the international aspect of this exhibition the elimination of shipping artwork is necessary, all photographs will be printed and framed in house at MWCP.

ASSOCIATED FEES AND INFORMATION

Not all photographers who enter the call for entries will be selected for the exhibition, and photographers who are selected may not have all individual images chosen to be included in the exhibition. There is a 40% gallery commission for work sold. MWCP reserves the right to reproduce images for promotional and publication purposes, if necessary. Any work that differs significantly from the entry, arrives at the gallery after the deadline, or is sub-standard quality will be disqualified from the exhibit. MWCP cannot be responsible for damage or loss during shipping. Photographers must provide the return shipment labels for their work, MWCP is not responsible for any shipping charges. Email addresses will be added to our email list. Entry fees are non-refundable, no exceptions.
